On Thursday 22nd February, in anticipation for Women's History Month, LSE Power is organising a tour of the LSE Women's Library with Dr Gillian Murphy, Curator for Equality, Rights and Citizenship at the LSE Library!
It's a chance to see some of the treasures of the Women's Library including the suffragette Emily Wilding Davison's return ticket and purse, Katie Gliddon's prison diary written into her copy of Shelly's 'Poetical Works', women's liberation movement magazines, Greenham Common Women's Peace camp photographs, Fawcett Society archives (Fawcett Society founded the Women's Library in 1926) and more.
The tour starts at 13:00, we will be meeting in front of the library at 12:50. See you there!
